GOV UZODIMMA ASSENTS #474 BILLION 2023 IMO BUDGET

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has signed into law the 2023 appropriation bill.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Declan Emelumba, made this known in a statement in Owerri.
According to Chief Emelumba, the budget of 474 billion Naira is christened Budget of Wealth Creation Expansion.
He noted that it had a capital expenditure of 373 three billion Naira representing about 72% of the budget while the rest was for recurrent expenditure.
Emelumba added that the leadership of the state House of Assembly and some members of the Executive Council were present when the Governor signed the appropriation bill into law.
