UNKNOWN GUNMEN KILL TWO SOLDIERS IN ANAMBRA COMMUNITY

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has condemned in strong terms the killing of soldiers who were on patrol in Umunze Community.
This is is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Christian Abumire.
The statement said that the soldiers who were on routine patrol were ambushed at Umunze by yet to be identified gunmen, maintaining that perpetrators of the act must be punished accordingly.
It insisted that the present administration would not rest on its oars in ridding the state of criminals, including those who attacked Senator Ifeanyi Ubah among others.
The statement further said that Governor Soludo urged the people to remain calm and law-abiding as security agencies were on top of the situation.
