GOV UZODIMMA LAUNCHES RECONSTRUCTION OF ORLU-MGBE-AKOKWA RD

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has launched the reconstruction of Orlu-Mgbe-Akokwa road.

Governor Uzodimma in his remarks in Orlu Local Government Area said the road was strategic and of economic value as it would connect other parts of the states for business transactions.

He maintained that the government would continue to bring infrastructure, social services and dividends of democracy to the people.

The Governor stressed the need to use the state fund prudently to solve the needs of people.

Earlier, the State Commissioner for Works, Mr. Ralph Nwosu, explained that when completed within the time record, the road would ameliorate the sufferings of people in the areas.

The Former Interim Management Council of Ideator South Local Government Area, Pastor Bede Ikeaka, thanked the Governor for his response to rescue the people of the area, noting that the roads would also improve the well-being of the people.
