VP OSINBAJO ARRIVE EBONYI FOR NATIONAL DEVPT PLANNING MEETING, SET TO INAUGURATE PROJECTS

Nigeria Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, has arrived in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State to commission the Joint Planning Board and National Council on Development Planning in the state.

The Vice President arrived in a chopper that touched down at Ebonyi International Airport site Onueke by few minutes to noon.

He was received on arrival by Governor David Umahi and some top Government functionaries, including the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala; the Commissioner of Police in the state and Nkwoagu Army Cantonment Commander.

Apart from participating in the on-going meeting at the Executive Chamber Government House Abakaliki, the Vice President is expected to inuaugrate some projects completed by Ebonyi State Government.

These include a section of Abakaliki-Afikpo dual carriage way, President Buhari Light tunnel, Sam Egwu Flyover and the Government House Chapel.
