GOV UMAHI SUSPENDS LAND COMMISSIONER, SSA

In what appears to be a wave of suspension in the Ebonyi State Executive Council, Governor David Umahi has suspended the Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Mr. Emma Uguru.

Also suspended was the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Education, Dr. Obianuju Alo.

A statement by the Secretary to the state Government, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala, explained that Governor Umahi approved that they should proceed on one month working suspension as a result of negligence and dereliction of duty.

Their suspension was coming few hours after the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Emma Obasi, was placed on a one month suspension in what the government also described as dereliction of duty.
