NEW YEAR MESSAGE: GOV OBIANO SOLICITS SUPPORT FOR IN-COMING SOLUDO LED GOVT

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has called for peace and brotherly love among Nigerians as they celebrate the New Year.

Governor Obiano, who made the call in his New Year broadcast, stressed the need for the people to strive for greater Anambra spirit, which symbolized peace.

The Governor, who expressed the hope that the New Year would be a great year for the people of the state, country and the world at large, emphasised the need for constant prayer for the country.

He recalled that year 2021 would go down in history as an outstanding year in the memory of the people of the state, noting that against all odds, the state was able to build an International Airport and stadium, which he said had restored the pride of the people.

Governor Obiano, who called for support for the incoming administration, urged other political parties to set aside their political differences and help build the state.
