IZOMBE CRISIS: GOV UZODIMMA APPEALS FOR CALM

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has sympathized with the families of those who lost their loved ones in Izombe, Oguta Local Government Area during a crisis between the military and the youths in the area
Governor Uzodimma made his feelings known when he visited the community to acertain the extant of damage in the area.
He noted that the government and the people of the area would come together to ensure that peace returned to the community.
The Governor, who expressed regret that the economic activities in the area had been paralysed, appealed for calm.
He said that security agencies would fish out those behind the babaric act.
Senator Uzodimma said the essence of providing security was to protect lives and property of the citizens and assured the people that in the peace would return to the area, Imo and Nigeria at large.
