SEDI MD, SECURITY AIDE ASSASSINATED IN ENUGU

The Managing Director of Scientific Equipment Development Institute (SEDI) Akwuke Enugu, Professor Sam Ndubuisi, has been assassinated. 

Professor Ndubuisi was killed alongside his security aide by unknown assailants Wednesday afternoon at the HELIU Residences axis of the Enugu- Port Harcourt expressway.

Enugu State Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who visited the scene of the crime condemned the ugly incident.

Meanwhile corpses of the victims have already been evacuated from the scene.

As at the time of filing in this report, the Police Command in Enugu State had not made an official statement on the incident.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Daniel Ndukwe Ekea told Radio Nigeria that information available to him about the incident was still sketchy.
