SIT AT HOME ORDER PARALYZES SOCIO-ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES IN EBONYI
Reporter : AMECHI ODO
Commercial and social activities have been paralysed in Ebonyi State as the sit at home order by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) recorded total compliance.
Our Correspondent, who monitored the development in Abakaliki, reports that banks, filing stations, markets and eateries did not open for business while schools were shut down.
The development also affected both human and vehicular movement as streets, roads and expressways were deserted.
However, security agents were spotted in some strategic places within Government House and Police Command Headquarters.
