IMO STATE: HERDSMEN LAID SIEGE IN BUSHES TO ATTACK IMO RESIDENTS FALSE — GOV UZODINMA
Governor Hope Uzodimma has urged residents of Imo State to disregard rumour making the rounds that some herdsmen have laid ambush to unleash terror in the area.
Addressing journalists in Owerri, the Governor described the information as a handiwork of those who did not mean well for the state.
Chief Uzodinma assured the residents of adequate protection of their lives and property as they go about their lawful businesses.
The reaction of the Governor followed a social media report that herdsmen were laying siege in the forests to attack residents of the area.
