IMO GETS A NEW POLICE COMMISSIONER
A new Commissioner of Police has been appointed for Imo State.
He is Mr. Fafowora Olaniyi.
A statement from the Public Relations Officer Imo State Police Command, Mr. Orlando Ikeokwu, indicated the new Commissioner of Police (CP) takes over from Mr. Rabiu Ladodo, who has just retired from service.
According to the statement, Mr. Olaniyi who hails from Osun State until his appointment was in charge of Counter Terrorism Unit Force Headquarters Abuja.
The statement further reveals that the new CP who enlisted in the Force in 1986 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police holds a bachelor of science degree in political science.
He is the thirty fifth substantive Commissioner of Police in Imo State.
