29 STANDING COMMITTEES SET UP IN ANAMBRA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY
The Anambra State House of Assembly has constituted twenty-nine standing committees to carry out the oversight functions of the house.
The Speaker of the House, Mr Uche Okafor, announced the committees‘ Chairmen and their Deputies during the resumed plenary after a month recess.
Mr Okafor urged the Chairmen and their Deputies to work effectively towards achieving the desired results and for the good of the people of the State.
While welcoming members of the House after a month break, Mr Okafor commended them for their proactive approach to development in their various constituencies.
Mr Okafor charged the legislators to redouble their efforts through positive and meaningful legislations for the growth of the State.
