NJC SUBMITS ITS FINDING ON PETITION AGAINST JUSTICE WALTER ONNOGHEN AND JUSTICE TANKO MOHAMMED
The National Judicial Council (NJC) has concluded its hearing on the petition against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen and the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Mohammed.
The NJC said it is abstaining from considering the allegations relating to assets declarations leveled against Justice Onnoghen, on the grounds that they were subjudice.
The judicial body reached a decision on the petitions written by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and others, conveying its decision to President Muhammadu Buhari.
