FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PLEDGES TO SUPPLY RELIEF MATERIALS IN ANAMBRA
The Federal Government is to supply relief materials to flood ravaged areas in Anambra State.
The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo announced this when he visited some of the communities submerged by flood in the area.
Speaking at the Omambala River Bridge, Umueze Anam, Professor Osinbajo again, advised residents still inhabiting the flooded areas to relocate for their safety.
The Vice President was accompanied on the visit by the Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano, his Delta State counterpart, Doctor Ifeanyi Okowa, Minister of Labour and Employment, Doctor Chris Ngige and the Director General of NEMA.
