REPORTER: CHINAZO ILECHUKWU
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has promised to re-dedicate himself to the service of the state.
He was reacting to the Supreme Court judgment, which affirmed his victory on the November 11, 2023 governorship election in the state.
Governor Uzodimma said the judgment had revalidated the mandate given to him by the people and called on those who contested the election with him to join hands with his administration to develop the state.
Governor Uzodimma commended the Supreme Court for upholding the law despite what he described as obvious intimidation by those who wanted sentiment to becloud justice.
