POLICE INVESTIGATE MURDER OF COUPLE IN ABIA

The Police Command in Abia State has confirmed the gruesome murder of a couple in Isiala Autonomous Community, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the Command, Mrs. Maureen Chinaka, made the confirmation on her Whatsapp platform.
Mrs. Chinaka explained that “after the report of the incident was received on Wednesday, 2nd October, 2024, at Bende Divisional Headquarters, the crime scene was visited, exhibits recovered, body deposited at the mortuary, and investigation ongoing.”
According to reports, the victims, identified as Mr. James Udo and his wife, Comfort, were allegedly attacked by unknown assailants who beheaded them and dismembered their bodies on Tuesday night.
