KEY INTO MY “PEOPLE’S CHARTER OF NEEDS” MANTRA EBONYI — NWIFURU TO NYSC

One thousand, three hundred 2024 Batch B Stream One Corps members have been sworn in for the one year mandatory service at NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Afikpo, Ebonyi State.

In a message at the event, Governor Francis Nwifuru charged the Corps members to continue to drive the processes of nation building across socio cultural, religious and ethnic boundaries for the emergence of a new Nigeria.

Represented by the State Director Ministry of Youths and Sports, Mr. Lawrence Orji, the Governor urged the youth to emulate their predecessors by keying into the development agenda of his administration’s “People’s Charter of Needs” to move Ebonyi State forward.

The Coordinator of the Scheme in the State, Mrs. Foluke Oladeinde, also charged the corps members to take every stage of the orientation course, very seriously, especially the SAED programme.

The Chief Judge of the state, Justice Elvis Ngele represented by Justice Nicholas Nwode administered oath of allegiance to the Corps members.
