The Commissioner urged the team to submit their proposals, challenges, and requirements early to guarantee government intervention.

He assured them of the willingness of the state government to ensure the state’s active participation in all games.

The leader of the delegation and state Chief Coach, Mr. Oguamalam Eze, highlighted the challenges faced by the volleyball association.

These included a slippery court, lack of equipment, and sponsorship to external and national competitions.

Mr. Eze requested the commissioner’s assistance in facilitating their upcoming tournament in Umuahia, Abia State, scheduled for June 25th to July 1st.
