EBONYI STATE GOVT APPOINTS ACTING VCs FOR ICT & AERONAUTICS UNIVERSITIES

Ebonyi State Government has appointed Professor Ernest Egba as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the State ICT University being sited at Oferekpe Agbaja in Izzi Local Government Area.

Also appointed was Professor Patrick Nwofe as the Acting Vice Chancellor of University of Aeronautics and Space Engineering being sited at Onueke Ezza.

A statement by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Jude Okpor explained that Governor Francis Nwifuru announced the appointment of the two at this Week’s State Executive Council meeting in Abakaliki after deliberations.

Also during the Council meeting, the State government appointed members of the State Honours Advisory Committee headed by the Deputy Governor of the State, Princess Patricia Obila.

The statement further noted that the Council approved the creation of more autonomous communities from the two existing ones in Agbaja and Igbeagu.
