EBONYI POLICE STATION ATTACK: POLICE KILL FOUR HOODLUMS

Combined Security Operatives in Ebonyi State have killed four suspected hoodlums, who allegedly attacked Ishieke Police Station Wednesday night.

In a trending video, the suspected hoodlums were seen lying lifeless in their sky blue sienna bus following an ambush by the operatives at Ishieke Udumoke road.

It was gathered that the hoodlums were fleeing through Udumoke road after attacking the Police Station when Police operatives opened fire on them.

Radio Nigeria could not independently verify whether some of the suspected hoodlums escaped or not but the operatives were seen in the video hailing their heroic counter attack.

An eyewitness told Radio Nigeria that the hoodlums launched attack on Ishieke Police station at 9pm forcing residents of the area and commuters to scamper for safety.

It was not clear if police recorded any casualties nor the station burnt down as the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Joshua Ukandu was yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report.
