The Nigerian National League Kick Off Date Shifted
The 2015/2016 Nigeria National League season will no longer kick off this week Saturday as the league kick of date has now been moved by another 21 days to the 28th of this month.
The executive secretary of the second tier league, Lawrence Katken said that this was due to the inability of some clubs to complete their registration formalities at the appointed time.
Mr Katken also noted that the lingering indebtedness of clubs to players of which there were ongoing discussions with their union with the view to guaranteeing a hitch free league was also a factor.
