RHOR NAMES PLAYERS AHEAD OF BENIN REPUBLIC & LESOTHO AFCON QUALIFIER CLASH

Nigeria Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rhor, has named Enyimba FC goal keeper, John Noble, Ahmed Musa, William Ekong Wilfred Ndidi and Victor Idongesit in a 24 man list for this month’s (March, 2021) Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Benin Republic and Lesotho.

Also called up are Leon Balogun, Kenneth Omeruo, Joseph Aribo, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze

The list is made up of 3 goal keepers, 8 defenders, 5 midfielders and 8 forwards while 7 players are on standby.

Nigeria, who top Group E with 8 points, will tackle the Squirrels of Benin Republic in 27 March at Stade Charles de Gualle in Porto Novo before locking horns with Crocodiles of Lesotho at Teslim Balogun stadium Lagos on 30 March
