UZO UWANI COUNCIL BOSS OFFERS ₦5 MILLION REWARD FOR INFORMATION FOR THE ARREST OF KILLERS THE COUNCILS’S SECRETARY

The Uzo-Uwani Local Government Council Enugu State says it will not rest on its oars until the killer of the Local Government Secretary, Dr. Nnamdi Ogueche is identified.

To this end, the Chairman of the Council, Mr. Fidelis Ani, has announced five million naira offer to any person or persons that would provide relevant information to fish out the perpetrator of heinous crime.

Mr. Ani, who made this known in a statement, explained that the deceased was allegedly killed by unidentified hoodlums on Olo/Umulokpa Road on his way to the State capital after attending a meeting in his home town Adaba in March, 2019.

Mr. Ani stated that the Council was collaborating with security agencies, including the Police in ensuring that perpetrators was brought to book.

The Council’s boss also expressed his gratitude to the State Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for his concern and benevolence to the family of the deceased, especially the wife and children.
