State Result Collation in progress in Imo State

Collation of presidential election result in Imo state is in progress at INEC headquaters in Owerri.
The exercise commenced around four o’clock in the evening.
The state collation officer and Vice Chancellor University of Nigeria Nsukka professor Benjamin Ozumba is being flanked by representative of the state commissioner of police Mr Dasuki Galadanchi while journalists. Observers and agents of political parties are well represented .
As at the time of filing this report only results of five out of twenty seven local government areas of the state have been collated while others are being awaited .
The results are being presented by local government areas returning officers.
