PEACEFUL CONDUCT OF ELECTION: APC CANDIDATE IN IMO STATE COMMENDS INEC

The governorship candidate of the All progressives Congress Senator Hope Uzodinma has commenced the Independent National Electoral Commission for what he described as smooth conduct of today’s elections.

Senator Uzodimma made the expression shortly after voting at his pooling booth in Omuma in Oru East local government area of the state.
The APC candidate who exercised his franchise around 12.30 in the afternoon also commended security agencies for ensuring peaceful environment.

Senator Uzodimma noted that today’s election was an improvement on the February twenty third presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.
He expressed confidence that he would emerge victorious at the end of the exercise.
Correspondent Chinazo Ilechukwu reports that no incident of card reader malfunction or security breach was reported at some of the polling units visited in Oru East local government area.
