NIGERIA’S UNITY AT 59 WORTH CELEBRATING – RADIO GUESTS
The peaceful co-existence of Nigerians is worth celebrating as the country marks its 59th Independence Anniversary on October 1, 2019.
This was the views of guests in a Radio Nigeria Enugu Political Programme, “POLITICAL WATCH” while deliberating on the topic, “Nigeria at 59, Journey so far.”
One of them, a political scientist, Professor Agu Gab Agu, noted that despite the multi-ethnicity nature of the country, Nigerians had put all hands on deck to make things work in the country.
Professor Agu urged Nigerian leaders to be inspirational and to take a cue from the developed countries.
Another guest and Executive Director, Daniel Ukwu leadership foundation, Mr. Daniel Ukwu called on Nigerian leaders and followers to be pro-active in their daily activities so as to achieve greatness.
Mr. Ukwu pointed out the decay of some infrastructure in the country and called on the federal government to address the situation.
Callers in the programme appealed to the Federal Government to tackle most of the problems hindering the progress of the country.
