MORE REACTIONS TRAIL SNATCHING OF THE SENATE MACE
Reactions have continued to trail the invasion of the Senate Chambers and snatching of the mace by yet to be identified persons.
Speaking with newsmen in Enugu, a politician and Enugu State Chairman of the Hope Party Chief Adonis Igwe, said it was another challenge to the nation’s security.
Chief Igwe advised government not to sweep the matter under the carpet just because the mace had been found.
On the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari to seek re-election in 2019 general election, Chief Igwe said it would give the President an opportunity to complete his agenda for the country.
He urged Nigerians to make wise decision with their votes.
A grassroots politician and Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Nnanna Nze, condemned the invasion of the Upper Legislative Chamber.
He advised key players to focus on providing basic infrastructure for the people.
The two politicians urged the Federal Government not to relent in its fight against corruption and suggested that the recovered looted funds be used to build industries and employment for the teaming youths.
