JIM NWOBODO RETURNS TO PDP

A former Governor of the old Anambra State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, Chief Jim Nwobodo has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Chief Nwobodo, who made his intention known at his home in Amechi, Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State, was received by some stakeholders of the PDP in the State, zone and ward levels.

While giving  reasons for  leaving the ruling APC, he expressed concern that the attempt to prosecute the Chief Judge of the Federation, Justice Walter Onnoghen, in disregard of due process was a mockery of the judiciary and desecration of the rule of law.

He also cautioned against desperation by any political party to win the upcoming election which could jeopardize the credibility of the process.
