I WILL CREATE MORE JOBS FOR WOMEN AND YOUTHS IF ELECTED – FRESH DEMOCRATIC PARTY ENUGU GUBER CANDIDATE

The Fresh Democratic Party Gubernatorial candidate in Enugu state, Mrs. Nnenna Nozie wants adequate mobilization for women in Enugu State to ensure equal gender participation in the forthcoming general election in the area.

Mrs. Nozie made the call while speaking with Radio Nigeria Enugu National Station on her intentions to contest for the Governorship position.

According to Mrs. Nozie, her intention to run for the Governorship position in next month’s general election is born out of her personal desire to bring a positive change in the state.

She also solicited the support of the station in propagating some of her campaign promises, which included adequate empowerment through jobs creation and introduction of skills acquisition programmes for women and youths.

Responding, the Zonal Director Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Enugu National Station, Mr. Ike Okere said the station was better positioned to guarantee balanced reportage of activities from the various political parties.

He maintained that the station was committed to its mandate to uplift the people and unite the nation.
