EMBATTLED IMO ASSEMBLY SPEAKER  DESCRIBES HIS IMPEACHMENT NOTICE AS A NULLITY

The embattled Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Chief Iheanacho Ihim has dismissed the impeachment notice served him  by twenty one lawmakers over alleged acts of misconduct.
In a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Mr Marcel Ekwezuo the speaker said he was still in charge of the house .
The statement noted that the house had duly adjourned plenary before the purported resolution was reached, hence the actions of the lawmakers were of no effect.
