EBONYI STATE GOVT PRESENTS 2019 BUDGET ESTIMATE, TO SPEND OVER ₦188B
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has presented 2019 Budget Estimate of One hundred and eighty eight point four billion Naira to the State House of Assembly.
Presenting the Budget, Governor Umahi explained that capital expenditure got one hundred and forty six billion Naira while recurrent expenditure stood at forty- one point five billion Naira.
He pointed out that the Works and Transport sub sector got the biggest chunk of capital provision with over fifty-three billion Naira while fourteen point three billion Naira was budgeted for Education.
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Francis Nwifuru commended the State Government for prudent management of resources and promised accelerated passage of the 2019 Appropriation bill.
