YOUTHS TOLD TO DISCOVER AND DEVELOP THEIR TALENTS

 Young people are advised to discover their talents and work towards developing them.  A lecturer and member of the Organizing Committee of Life in My City Art Festival, Mr. Tochukwu Amanno gave the advice during the 2018 edition of School Children Workshop in Enugu.

“Life in My City” is a non-governmental organization formed by artists and art lovers to promote creative art as a vocation. Speaking with Radio Nigeria, Mr. Amanno explained that the objective of the workshop was to encourage, promote and sponsor young talents to preserve the vocation.

Explaining further, the workshop Coordinator, Mr. Ifedilichukwu Chibuike said the organization intended to use the workshop to add value to the talents of the students. In their separate remarks, two teachers, Mrs Caroline Afuba and Mr. Justin Iloube were optimistic that the workshop was a right step in the right direction.

Some participating students, Miss Shalom Onyia, Mr. Ihunna Fortune and Miss Favour Ngene affirmed that they had gained a lot from the workshop. They expressed the hope that the programme would continue so that young people would be exposed to its benefits.
