UZODIMMA SWEARS-IN 5 MORE COMMISSIONERS

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has reiterated his commitment to reposition the economy of the state by injecting more infrastructural development.

He stated this after swearing-in five additional commissioners at the new executive council chambers, Government House Owerri.

Senator Uzodimma explained that the state was in a hurry to touch all sectors of economy through the recruitment of more capable people in his administration.

“We have come to work we are in a hurry to recover the economy and recover from current hardship occasioned by some policies.

“We are in a hurry to recover our place by the grace of God prosperity will be name of the day,” he said.

Shortly after taking oath of office, two of the commissioners, Chief Henry Okafor and Dr. Mandela Ukaegbu, expressed gratitude to the Governor.

They promised to work judiciously for the betterment of the state

Top political appointees and the Senator representing Owerri Zone at the National Assembly, Mr. Ezenwa Onyewuchi, attended the event.
