Reporter : AMECHI ODO
A section of the Federal High Court Abakaliki has been set ablaze by unknown gunmen.
A security guard in the Court premises who spoke with journalists on condition of anonymity explained that the gunmen attacked the court hall housing the library with petrol bomb.
They said the attackers wounded two guards and left unchallenged.
Confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Mrs. Loveth Oda, explained that the gunmen came in their numbers to carryout the attack.
She pointed out that the entire court would have been razed if not for the urgent intervention of the men of the state fire service.
