Ebonyi State Government has vowed to fish out the killers of ten persons including a five year old child in Ukwuagba Community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the State.
The Deputy Governor of the State, Dr Kelechi Igwe stated this during a security meeting with the community leaders at Ezzamgbo, the Headquarters of Ohaukwu Local Government Area.
Dr Igwe said though the area was prone to boundary attacks from neighbouring Benue State, preliminary investigations suggested that the killings were allegedly carried out by relatives of four men who went missing.
He gave ultimatum to community leaders and public office holders from the area to fish out those behind the attack and what happened to the missing men or face the consequences.
The Chairman of the Local Government, Mr Clement Oda said Police had arrested some suspects in connection with the killings and assured the State Government that his council would get to the root of the matter.
