SUPERVISE DEPLOYMENT OF POLICEMEN FOR EID-EL-KABIR — AIG ZONE 13 ORDERS POLICE COMMISSIONERS

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 13,  Ukpo,  Anambra State, Mr. Danmallam Mohammed, has directed the three commissioners of police in the zone to to personally supervise the deployment of officers and patrol teams to strategic locations. This the AIG said was to ensure a peaceful and hitch free Eid el-Kabir  celebration in the area.

In a statement by the Public Relations Officer,  Zone 13,  Princess Nkiruka Nwode,  the AIG urges moslem faithful to use the period to extend love to one another and continue to live in peace. Mr. Mohammed says that the Zone will not hesitate to deal with law breakers and hoodlums that may want to cause panic during the celebration. The statement says the Zone will collaborate with other security agencies and all stakeholders in Anambra,  Ebonyi and Enugu States to ensure a successful Eid- el Kabir celebration.

The AIG urges the public to continue to cooperate with the police and other security agencies and also report any suspicious person or group in their neighbourhood to the police or call the Zone 13 emergency Phone number 08060463492 and dial the hotlines of the Commands in the three states.
