SOLUDO TO TINUBU: IF YOU WANT PEACE IN THE SOUTHEAST, RELEASE NNAMDI KALU

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has canvassed for a continued reformation and strengthening of Nigeria’s electoral processes as well as citizens’ participation in politics to fast track the process of nation building .

Governor Soludo, in a broadcast at Governors Lodge, Amawbia, commended the roles played by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other stakeholders in the just-concluded Presidential, National and State Assembly elections in the area.

The Anambra State Governor, specially lauded the Nigeria Youth, describing them as the true heroes, whose voices would continue to be critical in the quest for a new Nigeria.

While congratulating the President-Elect, Chief Bola Tinubu, on his victory at the polls, Governor Soludo pledged to collaborate with him and Federal Government in the development of Anambra State .

He also used the occasion to draw the President-elect’s attention to the soaring insecurity in the South Eastern states and pleaded with him for the release of the leader of the Indegenous People of Biafra, Maazi Nnamdi Kalu, which he argued would bring sustainable peace in the South East.

Professor Soludo further thanked God Almighty for his grace and the people of the state for their unquantifiable support to his administration.

The Governor pledged to continue to provide the dividends of democracy to the people of Anambra State.
