SECURITY REMAINS MY TOP PRIORITY: GOV OBIANO BOOSTS

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has restated that security remains his administration’s top priority. 

Governor Obiano made this known at the Governor’s Lodge Amawbia while welcoming a team of delegation of Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji Jos, group 8, comprising students of senior course 43. 

Speaking on the theme of the course: “Pandemic and National Security: COVID-19 in Perspective,” Governor Obiano lamented that people had started lowering their guard on COVID-19 protocol. 

On security, Chief Obiano said that his administration would not relent in investing in the security sector while partnership with all security agencies would be sustained to guarantee security of lives and property of citizens.

The leader of the delegation, Brigadier John Adeyemo, said that the senior course 43 was targeted at interrogating items of security concern in a specific environment with a view to bridging identified gaps. 

He commended the governor for the standard of security network in place and hospitality given to them. 

Participants in the course were drawn the from police, DSS and security agencies from other African countries.
