POLICE IN ANAMBRA ARREST FATHER, FOR SALE OF HIS BABY  …Accomplices also in Police Net

The Police Command in Anambra State says it has arrested one Chukwuma Enemuo of Okwutu Amawka village,Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area  and Obi Chidubem of Umuabuche Eziama village in  Uli Ihialla, LGA for sale of a-3dayold baby.

In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr Haruna Mohammed said Enemuo conspired with Chidubem to sell his three day old baby boy at the sum of one hundred and fifty naira to one Mrs Anulika Okafor of Uruokwe village,Ozubulu.

According to Mr Mohammed, the Suspect,Enemuo lied to his wife, one Mrs Oluchi Enemuo of Okwutu Amakwa by telling her that the baby

died shortly after delivery.

Mr Mohammed said all the three suspects had been arrested and the baby also recovered while the suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution after investigation on the matter.
