PASTOR STABS MOTHER TO DEATH

A middle aged man has allegedly stabbed his mother to death in Umunkwa village , Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State .
According to an eye witness, Sochima onyeka , the thirty years old suspect, Nwabueze Anaka who is said to be a pastor of a Pentecostal church, allegedly stabbed his fifty years old mother, Mrs Grace Anaka with a dagger at about six o’clock on Tuesday morning .

The suspect however fled the home immediately he committed the act while the motive behind his action remained unknown to the sympathizers.

In an interview, the member representing Ekwusigo Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr Onyebuchi Offor described the incident as very unfortunate and called on security agents to carryout a thorough investigation to unravel the mystery behind the incident .

Confirming the incident , the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Mr Haruna Mohammed said the Victim was rushed to the hospital where she was certified dead..
He stated thet the circumstances surrounding the incident was yet to be ascertained even as the complainants alleged that the suspect had mental challenge.
Mr Mohammed noted that the incident was however under investigation and efforts being made to apprehend the fleeing suspect .

The corpse had been deposited in a morgue at Oraifite.
