OGALLA TO UZODIMMA: HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY OF OGUTA LAKE TO ATLANTIC OCEAN IS READY

The Nigerian Navy says it will redouble their efforts to enable them flush out criminals terrorising the South East region.

The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ikechukwu Ogalla, stated this when he visited Governor Hope Uzodimma in Owerri.

He acknowledged that Imo State had been strategic in the support of the Navy in achieving their maritime objectives.

Vice Admiral Ogalla explained that the hydrographic survey of Oguta Lake to Orashi River to the Atlantic Ocean was ready, stressing that the project would move to another level.

Reacting, Governor Hope Uzodimma expressed gratitude to God for the Naval Chief, pointing out that it was the second time in the history of Nigeria that Igbo Man would be occupying the position as Chief of Naval staff.

Chief Uzodimma described his visit as another assurance that security situation in Imo State would further be improved and strengthened.

Vice Admiral Ogalla was accompanied on visit by principal officers of the Navy, the commander 34 Artillery Brigade Obinze, and Deputy Commissioner of Police Imo State.
