NIGERIA ARMY BUILT TWO BLOCKS OF SIX CLASSROOM IN IMO STATE

Imo state Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma has inaugurated two blocks of six class rooms built by the Nigeria Army at Amakohia-Ubi in Owerri West local government area of the state. Senator Uzodinma at the occasion commended Nigeria Army for protecting territorial integrity of Nigeria and curtailing the activities of terrorist in some parts of the country.

He expressed gratitude to the leadership of the military led by the Chief of Army staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Burutai, noting that his administration will partner the army in promoting qualitative education

The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai represented by the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Enugu, Major General Lasis Adegboye said the project was part of Nigeria army civil military cooperation for this year’s army day celebration. According to General Adegboye, it is a clear manifestation of relentless efforts of Nigeria army to offer humanitarian services to the people.

An indigene of Amakohia-Ubi, Chief Charles Ohiri says the class rooms will promote cordial relationship between the army and the community. Chief Ohiri also expressed gratitude to their illustrious son Major General Felix Aguguo, the General Officer Commanding 6 Division Nigeria Army for attracting the school blocks.
