METHODIST PRELATE CALLS FOR A PEACEFUL SOCIETY
The Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria, the Most Reverend Samuel Uche, has advised Nigerians to live in peace and regard the nation’s abundant resources as God’s gift to improve the living conditions of every one irrespective of ethnic background.
The Most Revered Uche gave the advice during an interview with Radio Nigeria in Enugu.
On the suspension of RUGA settlement across the country by the Federal Government, the Prelate commended the idea and pointed out that whatever would truncate the existing peace in the country should not be supported.
The Most Reverend Uche condemned rape cases being reported in the society, especially among ministers of the gospel but pointed out that it should not be generalized.
The Methodist Prelate urged everyone to be tolerant and remain steadfast in prayer to ensure a peaceful society.
