MAN SELLS EX GIRLFRIEND’S TWIN BABIES FOR 150,000

The Police Command in Anambra State says it has arrested one Chijioke Chukwulota for stealing two month old twin baby girls in Uruagu Nnewi.

According to the a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Haruna Muhammed, the 31-year-old suspect was arrested by the Special Anti Cult Unit on monday following credible intelligence.

The statement explained that Chijioke lured his ex girlfriend, whom he allegedly impregnated, and stole the twin babies.

The mother of the twins was said to have had given birth through cesarean section after which the suspect allegedly sold the children to one Tina Ibeato, an indigene of Imo State, for one hundred and fifty thousand naira.

 The statement indicated that both the seller and buyer have been arrested and the children recovered in good condition.

The statement added that investigation was ongoing after which suspects would be brought to book.
