HOPE INAUGURATES OVER 200 SPECIAL ADVISERS

Imo State Government has reiterated its commitment to ensure good governance and provision of basic amenities for its citizens
Governor Hope Uzodimma stated this at the inauguration of more than two hundred Special Advisers at the Government House, Owerri.
Governor Uzodimma, who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Professor Placid Njoku, called on the new appointees to replicate the activities of the state government and work assiduously with community leaders to achieve peace in their areas.
Speaking on behalf of other political appointees, the former speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Chief Acho Ihim, described Governor Uzodimma as a man of progress, who had restored the confidence of Imo people through infrastructural development.
Chief Ihim promised to work on objectives of the state government, which centred on Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, and Recovery (RRR).
The event featured reception of members of other political parties who joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
