GUNMEN ATTACK BANK AT ONUEKE, EBONYI

Suspected Hoodlums have allegedly attacked a Commercial Bank located at Onueke in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
An Eyewitness explained that the hoodlums invaded the Bank about 1pm on Tuesday, shooting sporadically.
It was not clear whether there were casualties or money carted away as at the time of filing this report but it was gathered that some soldiers were quickly deployed to the area to confront the hoodlums.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Loveth Oda, said the command had deployed its operatives to the area to ascertain how the incident happened.
The Bank is adjacent the Local Government Headquarters and few metres away from Onueke Police Division, which was attacked few months ago by gunmen.
