GOV UZODIMMA VOWS TO BRING KILLERS OF SLAIN TRADITIONAL RULERS TO BOOK

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has condemned the Tuesday’s attack by gunmen at Nnenasaa, the Njaba Local Government Area council headquarters, which left two traditional rulers dead and a few others in critical condition. 

The Governor told journalists in Owerri that the recent security challenges in the state appeared to have taken a new dimension of attacking monarchs. 

Governor Uzodimma said government would do everything within its means to apprehend those behind the dastard act and vowed to bring them to book.

He called on residents of the state to remain calm as government was on top of the situation.
