GOV UZODIMMA SWEARS IN LGA SOLE ADMINISTRATORS, MEMBERS OF IMO ASSEMBLY SERVICE COMMISSION

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has advised citizens of the state to shun tribal, ethnic and religious politics.

He made the appeal during the swearing in of three new Commissioners, Chairman and members of Imo State House of Assembly Service Commission, and twenty-seven sole administrators of the local government councils in the state.

Senator Uzodimma urged them to use their wealth of experience to serve the public with utmost responsibility.

He admonished them to work in harmony with their members of staff and ensure that youths were involved in good governance.

In their separate speeches, the newly sworn in Commissioner, Professor Eugene Opara, thanked the Governor for finding them worthy to serve.

The Chairman, Imo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Chief Lambert Orisakwe promised to work beyond expectations for the good of the state.

In their contributions the sole administrators of Oru West, Mr. Willie Okoliogwo; Ideator South, Pastor Bede Ikeaka; and Mr. Ijioma Ofili of Oguta Local Government Area pleadged to add value to the administration of the local government system.

The event was graced by government appointees, leadership of state House Assembly and well wishers.
