GOV UMAHI CONDEMNS KILLING OF LATE DORA AKUNYILI’S HUSBAND

The Chairman of South East Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi, has condemned the gruesome murder of Dr. Chike Akunyili, the husband of the late former Minister of Information and DG NAFDAC, Prof. Dora Akunyili.
A statement by his media aide, Mr. Francis Nwaze, expressed shock over the development, pointing out that the rate at which Ndigbo now lose their best to hoodlums was a serious concern.
The statement called on security agencies to rise to the occasion and fish out the murderous group and make them face justice.
It further urged the people of the zone to collaborate with relevant security agencies to nip crime in the bud.
