Gov. Ugwuanyi Prays with Enugu Women’s Prayer Network

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has described the monthly prayer programme of the women of the state as the greatest pillar
behind the success of his administration.

Gov. Ugwuanyi spoke at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, during the State’s Women Monthly Prayers organized by the wife of the governor,
Her Excellency, Mrs. Monica Ugochi Ugwuanyi.

He stressed that the monthly prayers was the reason his administration has been able to overcome all challenges, pay workers’ salaries
regularly and still provide infrastructural development in the state, despite the present economic difficulties.

The governor thanked Enugu women for their commitment to God and progress of the state, urging them to continue to offer special
prayers for the success of his administration.

In her address, the governor’s wife expressed delight at the governor’s presence and commended him for his “unequaled support” to
the women of the state.

She noted that the programme themed, “Touching Lives”, marked the commencement of this year’s August Meeting of women of the state, and gave a compelling message urging the women to “Go Home and Touch Lives”.

Gov. Ugwuanyi, who was received on arrival by his wife, joined the women in praises, adoration and thanksgiving to the God Almighty for
His mercy and kindness to the state.
